Biography
It is with great honor that I introduce myself to you as Oneka Byron, Miss North Texas in the 2019 Miss Ultimate Beauty of America Pageant. Born and raised in the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I have lived in Texas for 13 years. I attended the University of Houston, where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Art.
The Miss Ultimate Beauty of America Organization is a non-profit organization which empowers women to define their own beauty and celebrates their unique talents, traits and beauty. Miss Ultimate Beauty of America defines her own standard of beauty and celebrates the whole woman, mind, body and spirit, all shades, hair texture and sizes. This Pageant System is a partnering non-profit organization with goals of raising the self-esteem of young girls, teens, and women; both through participation and representation.
My platform is passionately advocating for the Homeless of North Texas which aligns with the pageants mission of giving back. I desire to raise awareness and involvement with the homeless crisis by volunteering and encouraging others to volunteer in the impoverished areas.
